This panel focused on the US DOE vision and view of what the US DOE-EM Complex will look like by 2020. US DOE and industry representatives discussed current initiatives, plans and achievements to date. An update on the progress and implementation of the US DOE Asset Revitalization Initiative was provided with insight into the plans for the reutilization of their diverse mix of assets to reduce the overall cost of cleanup. This panel included perspectives from both US DOE-HQ, the Field Offices and Industry representatives.
