Working Session on Long-term Stewardship Implementation Plans |
- Cochairs:
- Jonathan S. Kang, USDOE (USA)
Richard Dailey, EH-413, Office of Environmental Policy and Assistance, USDOE (USA)
|
It is understood that most DOE sites will require some level of long-term monitoring and maintenance to ensure protection of human health and the environment from hazards that remain after cleanup is complete. The Office of Long-term Stewardship (EM) and the Office of Environmental Policy and Assistance (EH) are working jointly to develop guidance and a framework for developing site-specific long-term stewardship implementation plans. Does your site have a long-term stewardship implementation plan? What challenges have you faced in developing long-term stewardship implementation plans? Do you have any thoughts about how long-term stewardship implementation plans should be developed? If so, please come join the discussions at the workshop. The primary topics of the working session will include why long-term stewardship implementation plans are necessary and identifying the key components of a long-term stewardship implementation plan. Your input is valuable. Don’t miss the opportunity to participate in the guidance development process! |
