Panel Reporter:   Robert Berry (United Kingdom)

This panel discussed new hires and graduating engineers having open lines of communication with employers. Considering the projected shortfalls in the workforce, effective communication of wants-and-needs of both the employer and employee must exist. Currently, it seems that both sides must work harder to achieve this level of communication and a better work environment.

Panelists include: Melody Bell, Associate Deputy Assistant (DAS) Secretary Human Capital & Corporate, US DOE EM HR; Kevin Cooper, Director - Regional Center for Nuclear Education and Training, Indian River State College; and Robert Lapierre, DOE Fellow, Florida International University.
