WM2016 Schedule

Planning for the next WM Symposia for March 6 – 10, 2016 is well underway. If you would like to participate as a presenter, volunteer, attendee or exhibitor, here are some milestones for your planning:

June 1, 2015 - Call for abstracts issued

July 17, 2015 - Deadline for returning Exhibitors to secure previous booth location

August 10, 2015 - Open Sell of exhibit booths begins
Any booth not secured by August 10 is now available on a first-come, first-served basis.

August 14, 2015 - Deadline to Submit Abstracts

September 13 - 15, 2015 - Program Development Meeting
PAC members gather in Phoenix to create the preliminary program for the WM2016 Conference. Once finalized, authors are notified and draft papers are written.

October 2, 2015 – Authors Notified of Acceptance in Program

October 5, 2015 - Registration opens

October 31, 2015 - Anticipated Closure of DOE iPortal

November 2, 2015 - Financial Aid/Visa Requests due

November 6, 2015 - Full-Length Draft Papers Due
Draft papers are submitted and reviewed in November by members of the PAC in their area of expertise.

December 4, 2015 - Paper Reviewer Comments due to Authors. Authors may make updates or revisions until January 15, 2016.

December 31, 2015 - Deadline for Early Bird Registration

January 9, 2016 - Student Poster Abstracts due

January 15, 2016 - Final Papers, Copyrights & Student Poster Videos due

February 19, 2016 - Discounted Deadline for Off-Site Registration and Closing of Hotel Reservations.

March 6-10, 2016 - WM2016 Conference Dates

Future Conference Dates:

The WM2017 Conference will be held March 5 – 9, 2017 and WM2018 Conference will be held March 18 – 22, 2018.
