This session was part of a two-part panel which featured a two-part panel discussing the WM activities in France. This panel updated the WM attendees on the status of the country's WM programs and policies.

The first part, Session 13, discussed the industrial aspect of decommissioning and radioactive waste management in France. The main actors in the nuclear field presented, waste generators, waste processing companies, R&D institutes, and the Waste Management Organization. Respective roles and responsibilities were discussed during the first part of the panel session.
