This panel focused on how US DOE sites are dealing with the significant reductions in funding that are coming, how decision makers are prioritizing the numerous projects in mixed waste disposal that are not completed, how treatment vendors and disposal site operators are maintaining capability and other issues related to the funding dips. In addition the panel, primarily composed of US DOE or Contractor representatives, was joined by a manager of a commercial facility with mixed waste disposition issues to share experiences from the non-US DOE generator side.
