This panel discussed specific regulatory challenges and innovative approaches associated with nuclear waste cleanup.  The panel also shared lessons learned on streamlining regulatory processes and evaluation of remedies to expedite cleanup. Speakers included representatives from the US Environmental Protection Agency, and the States of New Mexico, South Carolina and Washington. 

Panelists include: John Price, Tri-Party Agreement Session Manager, Washington State Department of Ecology; Daphne Neel, Chief - Bureau of Land and Waste Management, South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control; and Rusty Lundberg, Director, Utah Division of Radiation Control.
