Session 082 - Contract Transition: Initiating the Final Contract to Achieve the Dounreay Interim End State
This panel focused on the implementation of the target cost contract to achieve the Interim End State at the Dounreay Site, Scotland. This contract is the first closure contract awarded by the UK NDA. Share transfer took place on April 1, 2012. The panel highlighted how the transition and consolidation was implemented and focused on lessons learned and perspectives from each of the affected parties including Dounreay Site Restoration Limited, UK NDA and the Office for Nuclear Regulation.
