This panel focused on the various areas of EFCOG. EFCOG promotes excellence in all aspects of the operation, management, and integration of US DOE facilities in a safe, environmentally sound, efficient and cost effective manner through the ongoing exchange of information on lessons learned. The purpose of this knowledge portal was to provide a vehicle to allow members to keep abreast of the latest news, issues, and events across the US DOE complex; for the sharing of innovative ideas and practices; and to collaborate virtually on the development and implementation of new processes and practices. A short discussion of EFCOG history and accomplishments were followed by an overview of Working Groups (WGs) and critical updates. Working Group updates included Project Management, Integrated Safety Management/Quality Assurance, Environmental, Safety and Health; Security and Enforcement; Contractor Assurance, Energy Efficiency/Infrastructure Management, Acquisition Management, Waste Management, Human Capital and Safety Analysis.
