Session 03 - Worldwide Perspectives on Waste Management Issues

This panel featured a discussion of the long-term management of radioactive waste from an international perspective, looking at how we deal with both legacy and new build wastes. High-level experts from the from around the world will give us their views on the challenges and potential solutions to issues on decommissioning, clean-up, and disposal for all waste types. Of particular interest will be how multi-national collaboration is assisting national programmes for dealing with waste. We will hear short presentations from each panelist, which will then be followed by a moderated Q&A session with audience participation encouraged.
