Session 038 - International Youth Nuclear Congress/Young Professionals

This panel focused on international activities of the Young Generation Network. These included the International Youth Nuclear Congress attended by over 250 young professionals (to be held in the US in 2012), World Nuclear University (over 100 fellows per year) and national activities for young professionals in the US, UK and France. They shared the best practices of the different nations and international programmes to grow and develop the international young professional network that aspire to be the next generation leaders of the future.

Panelists included: Jessica Lane, North American Young Generation in Nuclear (NA-YGN) (USA);  Connor Deehan, President, United Kingdom Young Generation in Nuclear (UK-YGN) and International Youth Nuclear Congress (IYNC) Fellow (UK); Dara Hrytzak-Lieffers, Manager-Corporate Social Responsibility, Cameco (Canada) and Rosa Ramirez, US DOE-EM.
