Session 52 - US DOE Contractor's Procurement and Contracting Opportunities
|
This panel session will focus on procurement and contracting opportunities with the US DOE's contractors. US DOE encourages its prime contractors to obtain goods and services from small and disadvantaged businesses. Award fee is based partially on the contractor's success in achieving specific goals for subcontracts with small and disadvantaged businesses.
Goods and services being considered for subcontracting include: decontamination and decommissioning services, remediation services, transportation and disposal of radioactive waste, health physics equipment and services, emergency response planning and training, lab services, R&D products, waste treatment services, maintenance services, A/E services, and professional consulting. This session complements Session 51 which focuses on contracting activity directly with the US DOE. WM2009 Exhibitors are encouraged to attend this panel.
