This panel will focus on lessons learned and facilitate a workshop on safety, focusing on personal protective equipment (PPE). Topics will include the following: an update on respirators, a discussion of OSHA Assigned Protection Factors, salient features of launderable and single-use PPE, and ways to reduce heat stress while working in hazardous environments. Panelists and participants will include US DOE and DOE contractor staff, as well as key suppliers of respiratory and other personal protective equipment.
