Session 067 - Management of Uranium Recovery Waste

This panel focused on all aspects of the management of radioactive waste resulting from uranium recovery operations conducted through conventional milling, in-situ and heap leach processes. The panel discussion also addressed the ongoing management of Title I and Title II sites as well as the implications for evaluating alternatives for waste management to satisfy the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA).
