| DynMcDermott Petroleum Operations Company is the Management and Operations Contractor for the Department of Energy’s Strategic Petroleum Reserve. Formed in 1993, DynMcDermott is a corporate partnership between DynCorp, McDermott International, Jacobs Engineering and International Matex Tank & Terminal. The Strategic Petroleum Reserve is America’s insurance against disruptions to the world’s flow of crude oil. The SPR stores 575 Million barrels of crude oil in underground caverns. |
