Starmet CMI provides radioactive waste recycling services for the nuclear industry. The majority of work if preformed at Starmet's 180,000 ft licensed facility located on 340 acres in Barnwell, SC. Recycling activities include conversion of UF(6) and UF(4) into beneficial reuse products, conversion of uranium oxides into high density DUCRETE (TM) Shielding, and recycling of Radioactive Scrap Metal.
